Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Activated

The City has activated the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to coordinate citywide operations, such as clearing storm drains, responding to hill slides, distributing sandbags, and ensuring residents are informed.
Report non-life-threating storm issues to 311, such as:

  • Clogged catch basins
  • Non-life-threatening street and residential flooding
  • Sewer backups or wastewater odors
  • Downed trees

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: During its regular meeting on April 11, 2023, at 1:30 PM, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) will hold a public hearing to consider authorizing the (1) implementation of program changes to the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s (SFPUC) Customer Assistance Program (CAP), (2) suspension of the SFPUC’s late payment charge policy for single-family residential customers, and (3) implementation of updated policy regarding shutoffs and liens for single-family residential customers, with delegated authority to the General Manager to determine the eligibility and engagement criteria for this policy. (Posted March 20, 2023)

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: During its regular meeting on April 11, 2023, at 1:30 PM, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), the governing board of the publicly owned utility operations of the City and County of San Francisco, to consider lifting the SFPUC’s declaration of a local Water Shortage Emergency that also imposed a mandatory temporary drought surcharge for retail customers and to continue the voluntary systemwide water use reduction of 11% to remain consistent with State Water Board emergency drought regulations still in effect.
