Customer Programs

From energy efficiency incentives to 100% RPS-certified renewable electricity, we've got you covered.

Electric Mobility (E-Mobility)

Hetch Hetchy Power is here to assist our customers in transitioning to an electricity-based transportation system powered by clean energy. Transportation is the leading cause of greenhouse-gas (GHG) emissions in San Francisco. We support the City of San Francisco's efforts to electrify mobility options and reduce reliance on fossil fuel powered vehicles. Email us at powerprograms@sfwater.org to learn more.

  • EV Charge SF

The EV Charge SF program is designed to help finance EV charging infrastructure in San Francisco. Through EV Charge SF, projects can take advantage of up to $120,000 in financial incentives to install EV chargers and related infrastructure.

To request a consultation or get more information, contact powerprograms@sfwater.org or call (415) 554-0773.

This free program is available on a first-come, first-served basis and offers eligible applicants a building electrification audit, an electrification plan, recommendations on available financial incentives, and technical support. Energy Efficiency Incentives

One of our most important jobs is to help our electric customers use their energy as efficiently as possible. Upgrading your equipment, building better than the minimum energy code or standard practice, and taking on efforts to reduce energy all help you succeed, whether your goal is LEED certification or improved net operating income. Email us at SaveEnergy@sfwater.org to get started today!

Municipal Retrofits

We plan and implement comprehensive energy retrofit projects in municipal buildings throughout San Francisco to reduce energy use, save money and improve indoor working environments. Lighting, HVAC and control retrofits, and fuel switching projects are available to our municipal customers. Read some examples of our work below.

  • LED Lighting Upgrades at the Asian Art Museum

We helped fund a series of major lighting retrofits throughout the gallery spaces of the Asian Art Museum. This project significantly reduced lighting energy usage in the affected spaces while simultaneously providing better illumination for the artwork under display. Additionally, due to the longer lifetimes of the new lights, the maintenance costs over time are expected to be significantly reduced.

  • Building Energy Management System at Public Health Department Clinics

We upgraded the building controls systems at several Department of Public Health clinics throughout the city. These upgrades allowed for more efficient operation of building heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems while also improving the ability of the facilities' engineers to maintain their sites.

Clean Switch Program

The SFPUC Clean Switch Program offers bill credits to new, full-service Hetch Hetchy Power customers. Eligible customers can receive monthly bill credits as a reimbursement for exit fees when leaving PG&E service. For more information, email CleanSwitch@sfwater.org.

Clean Switch Program Enrollment Package

GoSolarSF
